About Adrian Kuchtaruk, MD

Family physician, angel investor, and healthcare innovation advisor bringing real-world clinical insight, startup due diligence experience, and a focus on building scalable, evidence-based digital health products.

Dr. Adrian Kuchtaruk is a family physician and hospitalist at HSN, with a passion for healthcare innovation, digital health, and early-stage startups. As a frontline clinician, he brings practical insight into the everyday challenges faced by patients, physicians, and healthcare systems, helping founders build products that integrate naturally into real-world clinical practice.

During his time with the HaloHealth advisory firm, Adrian gained experience meeting with early-stage healthcare companies, gaining firsthand experience assessing founding teams, business models, clinical value propositions, regulatory considerations, and go-to-market strategies. This experience deepened his understanding of what separates successful healthcare startups from those that struggle to achieve clinical adoption and reinforced his passion for supporting founders who are solving meaningful problems in healthcare.

Adrian is particularly interested in companies leveraging AI responsibly to improve access to care, reduce administrative burden, optimize clinical workflows, enhance preventive and longitudinal care, and empower both patients and healthcare providers. He enjoys advising founders from a clinician’s perspective—providing candid feedback on product-market fit, workflow integration, usability, reimbursement, and implementation within modern healthcare systems.

In addition to his hospitalist and clinic based practice, Adrian has a strong interest in sports medicine, particularly in ultrasound guided treatments, injury prevention, and helping patients stay active throughout their lives.

Beyond his clinical work, Adrian actively evaluates investment opportunities in digital health and health technology, combining medical expertise with a strong interest in venture investing and entrepreneurship. He is committed to helping founders build evidence-based, scalable solutions that create measurable improvements in patient outcomes and the delivery of care.
