I'm a mental health clinician (MSW, RSW) with 10 years of experience spanning frontline inpatient and outpatient care and clinical leadership at CAMH, where I served as Advanced Practice Clinical Leader across the all of the hospital's outpatient schizophrenia clinics. 5 years ago, I founded Parachute Care, a therapy private practice where I've grown without outside funding, relying on strong client retention and word-of-mouth rather than paid acquisition and have profited from day 1.
The combination of systems-level clinical leadership and hands-on operating experience shapes where I add the most value as an advisor as I help founders pressure-test whether their product reflects how mental health care actually gets delivered and reimbursed, not just how it looks on a roadmap. I'm also a useful sounding board for founders trying to grow sustainably without assuming a venture-scale acquisition budget (ie. Parachute Care's growth has come almost entirely from retention and referral, a muscle most health tech founders under-invest in).
I'm most energized working with early-stage mental health startups or those figuring out how to grow without burning cash on customer acquisition.
