Meredith Mangold, CPXP, is the founder and CEO of Empower Health Strategies. She advises health tech founders and healthcare innovation teams on problem validation, stakeholder discovery, patient trust, and the human and operational realities that shape whether a solution succeeds in real care.
Drawing on more than 15 years of experience across patient advocacy, hospitals, digital health, and healthcare education—as well as her own experience navigating complex chronic illness—Meredith helps teams look beyond the most visible pain point. Her work examines how products and services will fit into patients’ lives, care team workflows, interpersonal relationships, and the broader care journey.
Her specialties include customer-discovery strategy, care experience mapping, product and messaging reviews, founder education, and patient-centered approaches to health AI. Meredith is a Certified Patient Experience Professional, accelerator faculty member and mentor, board member of The Chronic Pain Project, invited Johns Hopkins speaker, and has been featured in Johns Hopkins Medicine.
